Well, after saying goodbye to Liane and Brett on Ko Samui who were heading up to Chang Mai, Sonal, Nisha and I took the ferry over to Ko Phangan for a couple of days more island hopping.
We arrived pretty shattered (don't know why seeing as it was a 2 hour journey?!). At first we were a little worried by our accommodation as it was in the middle of nowhere. Plus, to get to it you had to do a near vertical ascent down a cliff face - not so good when you've got you're rucksack to carry.
In the end though, we had an amazing stay there. The accommodation was really basic, but had a secluded beach to the front of it, and the rainforest and behind. Koi and her husband Bert who ran the bungalows were lovely and managed to create a really great atmosphere there and we met quite a few nice people. One night Koi cooked this massive BBQ which was very yummy! We all sat and watched the sun go down and I have to say, I have never seen a sunset like it (that's why I've put so many pictures of it up - there are too many to chose from!). After that we all went to the Half Moon Party, which is this massive all night rave in the jungle. Now, I don't really like trance so I got bored after a bit, but it was still worth going, depite the amount of weirdos! So, Ko Phangan was a great place, possibly one of my favourite's in Thailand and I know I've said it about everywhere else we've been, but I'd love to go back again!
And before any of you pick up on my spelling (not mentioning any names or anything!), I am aware that I have spelt some of the photo albums wrong but I can't work out how to change it! That's the excuse anyway...
