Started the day casually as a big one ahead for me. Had an awesome omelette for breakfast and got myself organised to go and meet rach and dan at their hotel. Once I got there we headed to planet Hollywood shopping centre to browse and find sone outfits...didn't have much luck but we had a really nice salmon lunch with veggies. We headed back to MGM grand and had a couple of drinks before rach and I headed to the christoff salon. Very fancy indeed and I did feel a bit out of place in my thongs and sunburn. They worked their magic and a miracle happened, amazing make up and hair. So the next stop was for us to resume the sampling of beverages upstairs. A few beverages later and changed and ready we headed off to the graceland chapel for the vow renewal for rach and dan. What can I say a cute little chapel and the most awesome Elvis impersonator. I found it all cliche and could not stop laughing throughout the whole ceremony, the beverages had nothing to do with it. I was laughing so much that i distracted Elvis and he started laughing. It was a lot of fun and I had a fantastic time. We then headed back to the hotel for more sampling of beverages and then jumped in a stretch hummer and had plenty of room as only 3 of us and headed to the Vegas sign for photos. There was definitely a strong party vibe going on even if only 3. Got to Vegas sign and pranced around a bit and got photos. We got back in the hummer and headed for Caesars palace. Rach and I looked liked dogs hanging out each side of the hummer windows. The wind definitely didn't do much to help the makeup and hair do's.....bit of frizz going on. Got to caesars and did a bit of gambling, unsuccessfully of course. We met up with some fellow burnie travellers and got into the VIP section of a club. Free drinks, attentive service and rich rich rich people. Very strange experience but most awesome. Left at a reasonable time as leaving tomorrow. Got a bit lost trying to find entrance taxi stand. Ended up standing in the middle of the strip at 4am hailing a cab.....all class.
