Day 1
Girl Abroad is FINALLY abroad!! Brussels to be specific. After months of planning I have finally begun my travels. This entry will be quite short as all I have done so far is fly from Manchester, take a (quite expensive) taxi to the hostel i'l be staying in and make my bed. First impressions of Brussels are good though, it seems clean, the hostel is really nice (as well as my 3 roommates, fellow female solo travellers), and everything seems to be quite close. I can't wait to get out and see the sights, and try some of that famous Belgium food! On that note it's time for me to go and get a good nights sleep, as tomorrow I have to see an entire city in one day. More tomorrow. Watch this space.
