Saturday 19th April - Road Trip - Day 1 We arrived at Folkestone after only one service station stop (and Costa Coffee!) around 5.30am. We stayed overnight in a delightful B&B, but couldn't get in until 6pm so did a bit of driving around before hand. Whilst waiting we met a Dutch couple & their son; very pleasant people We had a lovely room overlooking the village & went downstairs to join the others in front of an open log fire where we read for a short while before retiring .... having been up for 30+ hours bed sounded very appealing!
