We arrived in Auckland monday lunchtime to be greeted by a very tired Morwenna, Jacalyn and Sue. It was lovely to see them all, and decided that I would spend the day with Jacalyn on tuesday. The hostel we booked into was really nice, kind of in the style of an apartment and in the city centre. Morwenna's and Jon's bags had both been left either in London or Sydney so we made a visit to my favourite shop- 'Warehouse' to get Morwenna a nice $4 bath towel, haha. Had a really lovely evening catching up with all the gossip from home. On tuesday I eventually found Jacalyns hotel, after wondering the opposite direction in the city. We went down to the harbour for some really lovely lunch and had a boat trip round the harbour, a really relaxing day.

We left by magic bus on wednesday morning to head to Rotarua. Typical Morwenna didnt book her pass in timne so her and Luren are a day behind Jon and I. Along the way we stopped at Waitomo and went black water rafting, where you go down rivers in the caves on rubber tubes and jump off waterfalls. At one point the guides got us all to turn are head lamps off and float down looking at all the glow worms on the cave ceiling, so cool. As i speak Jon is white water rafting, I didnt feel quite up to it as I have a sore throat...but hopefully at some point in NZ! May go and do zorbing this afternoon where you roll down a hillin a bit rubber ball! haha. There are just so many activities to do here!
