Hey Guys,

This will possible be the shorted blog yet....!!

We had a brilliant time at Mission beach, it was simply a beach and few shops. The hostel we stayed at was a family run business called Scottys, it was an awesome atmosphere, we loved it and made many friends, we stayed for 5 nights and it was very relaxing and eventfull! Most days we stayed by the huge pool sunbathing (sweating) and playing vollyball in the pool, playing cards with friends and just chit chatting. Was cool!

We made friends with two Canadian guys and a few people from England! We all hung out had a load of beers and goon and partyed a few nights :) (you shouldnt expect much less these days)

We went to a local beach market at North Mission beach, which was cool. Whole coconuts which were selling at $3 awesome! Loads of fruits and little crafty stalls! We bought a huge pineapple!!

We searched along the beaches, which were rather seaweedy, not that great, but surrounded by palm trees!!! very pretty! Unfortunatly all the coconuts were either too old or not ripe enough! The canadians were a little disapointed!!!

We had a BBQ one night with them, a true feast, burgers, kangaroo, garlic bread and beer :) Loved it!!!!

We also went to a cool Xmas party that the hostel put on, we all ate curry and had dance offs and played limbo, we all had to dress festive and wear white green or red, i wore my santa hat of course!

We went to a bar called cocnuts one night too, had a few cocktails, played bongos and entred a pool competition which embaressingly lost in the first round meh!

I really enjoyed my time at mission beach, a wicked vibe and cool place to chill and make freinds. I was sad to leave, espically knowing Cairns is ourt last stop on our Oz Experience bus!!

We arrived in Cairns yesterday, we stay till boxing day, and then fly back down to sydney ready for new years, then fly back to Cairns on the 7th of Jan where we will spend our last few days in Australia before flying to Singapore! Its emotional i know lol!

Cairns is a cool city, its not very pretty but it has pretty much everything you need, it has a large awesome Lagoon which looks fun, we havent tried it yet!

We walked all through the town and it looks cool. We have a few plans for christmas....

Christmas eve (tomo) we are going christmas shopping for our feast for xmas day, we are then going to go to the cinema on christmas eve to watch "Christmas carol" just to make us feel a little more chirstmassy lol

Christmas day we are heading down to the lagoon with our burgers beer and fruit salad to spend the day relaxing and sunning, playing a few games ( nothing to majourly different to the last 2 months haha)

Boxing day - Fly to Sydney and stay in a hotel for the night where we will possible eat out in a posh restaurant!!!!!

Its all very exciting, Lucy will be uploading some photos soon of our time at Mission Beach and a few of Cairns, so keep your eyes open on her blog page!!!!!!!
