So... I have finally gotten around to starting my blog. I have been in New Zealand for roughly two weeks now, and it has been amazing so far. I have spent my time a a Culture Camp, where I lived with 39 other exchange students from all over the world. It has been great fun, and I have made friends from all over the world. Among some of the things we did at the Camp is Auckland visits, shopping, bungy jumping - I jumped 40 meters backwards from a bridge, and got my entire upper body underwater, surfing at Piha Beach - I was standing on the second wave that hit me. We also visited a marae, a farm where I helped shear a sheep, swam at thermal pools, and gone rock climbing. It has been an amazing two weeks, and I am somewhat sad that they are over - however I am now at my host family, amazing people! I have made agreements with several of the people I met at camp that I will visit them. Write to me anywhere if you want to hear more about my stay - cheers!
