Today we went and found lunch down in town- we had gyros from jimmys which is meant to be famous but I didn't really enjoy it. Then we had frozen yoghurt which was yum-there are so many of those shops everywhere. It must be a thing.
I found a suitcase that was very similar to my old ruined one for €90 which was a massive rip off but I didn't really care too much. We went back to the hotel and I called travel insurance to see what the deal was and they said they will replace the cost of the broken one which was around $100 so it worked out well. Claire stayed in our room and had a nap and I walked down and got it. As I was walking up the hill I realised she hadn't given me a receipt which I would need. Walking up the hill was so hard it's pretty steep and even with an empty suitcase I was sweating.
We caught the bus to paradise beach around 3. It was packed! A lot of O.T'S (a term Claire an I have made up which refers to European tarts who we call onion tarts in an attempt not to get yelled at).
I read my book and it's started to get sooo good I really didn't want to put it town but the beach party was starting (around 6) and we thought we should mosey over. But the time we got our stuff together the party was getting pretty wild. We went and got a pizza and watched everything it was so entertaining. After our pizza we got daiquiris and got on one of the tables and watched some more.
It was quite full on. Hilarious but full on and I'm glad I was drunk as every girl that got drunk was being groped by a minimum of 3 disgusting Italians. We watched a pack of Italians on a table next to us and they were unreal they would sandwich girls inbetween them and both be grabbing at them. I honestly just felt really sorry for all the girls because they made it so hard for them to leave and I just kept thinking where are these girls friends?
We left and caught the bus home, I picked up my washing which was all neat and folded!! We came home showered and got changed and ventured back out.
We tried to find a yummy non touristy restaurant and actually had some luck. They had all fresh pasta and you could watch them making it. I had a creamy pasta with proscuitto, pesto and cherry tomatoes it was on par with Italian!
We got home around 11.30 and asked George if there was a police station nearby as Claire lost her bracelet and needed a police report to claim it on insurance. He said it was going to cost €100 to get a police report but called and his friend was working and said he would do it for free so we quickly caught a cab there.
We waiting for so long! They were really nice but just soo slow haha. When we were in a little room and the guy was typing the report up literally 6 different police men would walk in and joke around haha it was bizarre. Towards the end two guys (Dimos and Nicky) came in and they were just chatting with us and said they would drive us home (they were police men) we were so relieved and we realised we had no idea where our hotel was haha. Around 1.30 we left and the nice police men who said they would drive us home did, after they took us for a little tour of the island haha.

Nic My tummy is rumbling! Sounds scrumptious!! I cant believe you can claim for a broken suitcase. How good it that! That sucks that claire lost her bracelet, I hope it wasnt her Tiffany's one. Love the OT's!! But where on earth did you get the onion part from?? Haha!! Yucky Italians, typical isn't it!!
