"Survived the first week back"... A classic line from all teacher around the world who started back this week!
Its always a shock to the system, not only having to get up early but concentrating all day! It takes time to re-adjust to the old routine again! I have to say, Im doing pretty well...
Back with renewed energy and enthusiasm! Promoted to President of the BSSC (Berlin Schools Sports Competitions) President! Ha.. But got a few plans to hopefully increase participation and competition!
BBS... A strange little school! Never a dull moment! But a very cool place to work.. I just wish we had our own Sport facilities!
So, after what has to be said an awesome summer back 'home home', returning to Berlin was exciting! felt almost like I was starting a resh challenge, one which I knew slightly more than last year!
Loving having my bike over here.. An opportunity to really explore and get to know the place. Also back training and playing football with FSV Bableberg 74. Its a great feeling now I can actually play! having the opportunity to have a full season with them has already made a difference to my own personal well being! Last year was very difficult as I wasnt involved, but I can already see the difference now.
Not sure Im arty enough to fully appreciate Berlin.. Although I do think that if you visit Berlin or move here, like all places, you have to experience all of it! There is something here for everyone, no matter your interests, Berlin offers plenty to keep you entertained. Each neighbourhood having a different feel and history! The population of Berlin is very varied, the different neighbourhoods attracting certain types of people. Im living in the West, mainly for convienence, easy to get to work! However, I would probably suit this side of the city more than the East. The West is quieter and more accessable to explore the countryside surrounding the city. The East attracts the artists and musicians. Although I can admire the art work and love music, I have a very varied interest in genres, socially, well I prefer the football and sport talk!
Plenty of sporting fixtures to keep me busy this term... And currently the weathers not too bad! Although, it is on the turn. Cooler evenings... You can certainly feel the wind of change coming in! Not looking forward to the winter! Think I will make this my last one!
