As the school years draws to an end, it's been a busy few weeks! Sports day and Sports Awards Evening, the usual reports and examinations to mark. It's important to keep the spirits up!

Our first and final game of the year for the BBS Staff team was a much needed break from the daily drag of the school environment! & what a laugh! With a team touring from the UK and our local rivals Berlin International the day was a great success. Losing our first game was not ideal, however we did redeem ourselves when playing BerIs, winning 10-0! This gave us the excuse we were looking for to reward ourselves with a few beers!

Our staff end of term BBQ will be a few crates short! Dont think I'll bother going to that! ha.. 8 crates later we took our celebrations to our local, The Krug! A fantastic German pub stuck in the 1950's.. A rather extended journey home on the S-Bahn (yes it's true, you have not lived in Berlin if you havent rode the S-Bahn half the night!) Note to self, must stay awake on the journey home!!

I then dragged my ass out of bed on Sunday Norning to join the Staff Hiking group... I am so glad I managed, a coffee and doughnut helped pull me round! A great hike to the Kloisters in Chorin and you've guessed it, a reward of a cold beer at the end... Well maybe a few more than one... A great day out & the first time we'd left Berlin!! We always talk about heading off somewhere for the weekend, but more often than not we get distracted by KiBar or the Tiergarten Biergarten on a Friday after work!!

2 weeks remaining at school before the summer holidays & I can't wait!! Looking forward to some chilling time with friends and family... I havent spent a summer holiday in England for years!
