Arrived at Beachcomber yesterday (the party island) and had a tropical storm for the whole day! Spent the day playing 's*** Head' (a card game for those who may be confused!) and Monopoly which I haven't played for too long as couldn't remember the rules at all and all I wanted was to own Mayfair and Park Lane. Played so badly they were all I owned so the rest of the board was owned by everyone else and I was pretty quickly out of that game!

On Xmas eve the girls arrived and the sun was shining!! We spent the day on the beach and in the sea. It was the first time I'd really seen the island because of the rain and it's gorgeous! You can walk round it in about 10 minutes and the sea is the clearest and warmest I've ever been in....

In the evening we had dinner, started on the cocktails and just before midnight the staff sang xmas caroles for us (Fact: all Fijians can sing amazingly - would like to see the staff at an English hotel do the same). Unfortunately we started on the cocktails too early and had far too much food so we were all passed out in our 80 bed dorm (!) by 5 past 12 - ravers!
