Well photo again is nothing to do with what I am doing. I am still enjoying India and was thinking last night that I am so glad I came as have had so many new experiences. I am missing home though and felt a bit of a bout of it this morning. Its always hardest in morning.
Saw a billboard in New Delhi advertising Simon Cowell is back in X-Factor last night. He gets around.
Last night went out with host family Shusma and her daughter Manou to see Chinese acrobats. Yes I know I should probably be seeing Indian acrobats but fancied seeing it and so did host family. It is part of a cultural exchange year between China and India. It was absolutly fantastic-a few slip ups but thats expected with routines being so advanced. They were Chinese acrobats from Yemen. Had acrobatics with juggling hats, ropes, spinning plates, candles and skipping ropes. One person was balancing candles everywhere and then changing positions. When juggling hats they also kept changing hats on their head. Used hula-hoops which I appreciated that as I can't hula-hoop that all. They also had rings to jump through and a group of three were rotating and acrobats somersaulted through from different angles. The best routine was probably skipping ropes as they were all somersaulting over and underneath. Some of acrobats even changed their weight distribution to jump over skipping ropes from stomach. They also created a basic structure of acrobats and jumped over rope. It was in Sirifort auditorium which was similar to a home theatre. Only difference was it was free to watch the programme. No wonder the Chinese gymnasts are best (or one of best in world) when saw their acrobats.
Two stray dogs were jumping over gate near house when went out last night. Someone kicked out at it and it started a dog fight between the dogs. Manou shrieked and grabbed my arm. I think I was the calmest out of the two of us but still it wasn't too nice. Was so nice to be with a local for sorting out autos though. It was so stupid of me to have street food last night but felt I should as with Manou and Sushma. Doesn't seem to have affected me much now on tablets but think tablets are giving me indigestion and making me feel a bit sick.
Today managed to get a certificate proving I have been intern an in the hospital. Unfortunately it didn't have todays experience of being in operating theatres on. So now seen the heart pumping while surgery is being performed. I'm surprised I'm not more squeamish. The operations haven't really affected me. Strange really was what made me a little squeamish while the heart operation was happening and seeing heart pumping was what the surgeons were doing with patients legs. The only thing I did get was cramp in my leg while watching which was a little bit of a pain as couldn't exactly begin stamping my feet while they were operating.
Today was my last day observing at Fortis Escorts and I was sad to leave. It will be good not to be under everyones feet but I will be exactly the same at other hospital. I begin observing at Fortis La Femme tomorrow.

Suzanne Today observed at Fortis La Femme and saw a Cesarean. I've just had to look up how to spell it on the internet and never thought it would be spelt like that. Bit hard when came out as someone had moved my slippers (I think). Had to change shoes twice before going into operating theatre. The only slippers I could find were two left feet or two right feet so luckily it was a short distance to walk. I hope I haven't caused problems by removing them as was in a bit of rush to catch up with Dr so hope I didn't miss a left slipper and a right slipper. Found it quite hard changing hospitals as had settled in last place. Alot of the doctors seem nice though apart from one of the female doctors is severe and I feel a bit embarassed and uncomfortable with her. Can't tell you why. One of the typists explained some of the abbreviations in doctors notes. There were some very cute couple of days old babies being fed at nurses station. I'm not sure whether I am going to get to observe as much in this hospital though as they are all private wards. I won't get lost as much though as it is a small hospital. I met co-ordinator for Delhi today for about an hour. She was nice but I probably won't see her again as she is jet lagged and going to Kerala at weekend. Had a long walk back as co-ordinator suggested that could walk it. I either got lost or it was longer than I expected. Had to stop in McDonalds along way to get a coke and a McFlurry. I will probably go red as a tomato with the sun later. Not looking forward to trying to get back to the hospital tomorrow morning. I'm the only one in house tonight I think so going to have dinner out and then update journal and then sleep. Haven't been having as many hours as needed lately. I don't know what it is but nights go so fast and I'm still writing journal at stupid times at night. I think its cause have dinner so late. This is unrelated to travels but I have been accepted to volunteer for paralympic games at olympic stadium. I also went to Iskcon temple again today and watched a light and sound show about Lord Krishna and the values. According to that my soul is going to come back not as a human but as an animal as I eat lots of meat and don't do yoga and meditation. Bit odd as I was the only one watching the show so had to keep sitting down in darkened rooms.

Suzanne Hi Aunty Chris, No problems. My mum told me you were having computer trouble. How annoying. Thank you was an odd birthday. Monsoon rain in the morning. Had a meal at homestay and then I had bought some cake slices for it. Then got some Ferrero rochers from the girl I was sharing a room with (who had unfortunately gone home) and a jewellery box from homestay host family. Saw another c section today. Don't really make comparison that much. Seeing the placenta come out today was the worst part. I am really not sure which part I have enjoyed the most. Had so many experiences in a short time that don't know which has been best. Oooh have a nice holiday where are you going? I come back home on 21st October for two weeks so hopefully will be able to see you before I go off again. Take care. Love from Suzanne xxx
