This week is pretty silly in Spain, Tuesday is Labor Day and Thursday is the Day of the Cross, so classes are cancelled for those days, and it seems that no one goes to class in between, so we took Monday and went to the beach. It was an hour and a half bus ride to Almuñécar, a beach just outside of Málaga on the Mediterranean Sea... How cool! It was rocky instead of sandy, but at the end of the beach there was a huge rock formation that Brent and I went exploring on and I swear, it was like we were the only people in the world. We ended up surrounded by caves and boulders; all we could see was the cliff above us and the cacti and random jungle plants growing off of it. There was no way to tell what country we were in, it may as well have been Australia or anywhere with a coast. It was fantastic. Needless to say, I will be going back. Spain is pretty sweet.
