A nice pleasant drive to Winton today - we arrived mid-afternoon and had time to check out the 3 caravan parks. The first one had a pool, but the cow and lama in the small yard next to reception were smelly and the park was actually one of the most unkempt we've ever seen, so we moved onto the 2 in town, and they were both fine, but the one associated with the Tattersall's Hotel had nice green grassy patches, so that's what we picked. Another nice easy start to the day today - it's nice and cool, so we walked to the Stockman's Hall of Fame mid-morning and actually spent about 3 hours there - there were 5 galleries - Discovery; Pioneers; Outback Properties; Royal Flying Doctors; Stock Workers. Each gallery had artifacts, videos, etc to look at or listen to and it was really interactive and interesting. Nice lazy day today - eventually we ventured out to the QANTAS Founders Museum for the 1.30pm tour - it was actually a great 90 minutes with our guide telling us the most detailed information about a plane you can imagine.
