The London Boat Show this year was planned like a military operation in getting not only the stand and all its assessories on site in time from Portugal but in getting everyone there to man the stand too - well done Jane.
We decided to leave it to the day before the show opened to set up the stand as last year we were too early! So with just 18 hours before the show opened its doors to the public we arrived and assembled the display. It was all there too.
Huge thank you to Big Mikey Craddock and his crew at Simply Advertising for their efforts in re designing our display and making it look even more striking.
Simon had done a sterling job in constructing the new A frame on which we were displaying the Special Offers.
The first weekend saw a steady flow of people with lots of you who had done your training with us this year stopping by for a chat and an update. Freya and Elizabeth helped us man the stand at the weekend and Freya flew out to the Caribbean early Sunday morning to join Harry and to look for work, putting their new Yachtmaster commercially endorsed tickets to good use.
The show went on for 10 days and the new layout including the new 70m display pool. Kite surfing, model yachting exhibitions etc. We even found time to go and look at the rest of the show at the quieter moments too and got pretty tasty at the model yacht racing (boys/girls and their toys).
The last weekend was very busy for us and Alice flew in from Portugal to join us and we had lots of bookings and enquiries coming in, so well worth the effort.
Thanks everyone who called by for a chat and we look forward to seeing many of you again in the Algarve this year to do your training.
Then all to soon its was 1800 on the final day and time to take the stand down and head home. Many thanks to Simon and Pauline for their help in getting it all stowed away and into the back of the car (now about that flat battery, who left the courtesy light on then?)
We flew back to Portugal the next day so it was go go go it getting everything organised.
In summary, a great 10 days that just flew past, and great to see so many of you there - now to go sailing!!

Lijo My husband and I tulhohgroy enjoyed the festival last year and are eagerly awaiting this year's event. The authors, poets, and musicians were very entertaining and very responsive to the audiences. Bravo!! Savannah!
