After a tearful farewell with the girls and Rich we flew over to Perth where we hired a camper van and drove up the coast. After a few days of driving we reached Exmouth where we were hoping to go swiming with the whale sharks but it was too expensive so we just drove down to Coral bay and spent a day on a boat snorkelling on the Nigaloo Reef. We saw a small manta ray, a turtle and a reef shark, luckily it was swimming away from us. Despite being winter over here it was only ever cold in the mornings and at night, there were a number of times I had to sleep in most of my clothes. The west coast is really pretty, bit of a trek but well worth it. The campsites we stayed on were all pretty good although towards the end of the trip we did get locked in one of the campsites kitchen and we had to break a fly net to get out but the security guy thought it was the funniest thing he'd heard in ages. Back in Perth now and flying out to Singapore in the morning for the last leg of the journey!
Take care
