After a day sunbathing on the beach Leo and Ajay kindly picked us up from Venice beach about 7pm and the adventures of Seal beach began! It was lovely seeing a friendly face and was great catching up on all the goss. For the next few days we were going to be staying with the Agnelli family who had kindly offered to put us up in their beautiful house which had a swimming pool, hot tub, pool table, table tennis table, and a foosball table! perfect!
So after getting settled Leo, A-jay and Jimmy took me and Nathan to Huntington beach for some grub and a few drinks which soon turned into lots of drink and a really good night out. Ajay attempted to teach me and Nathan the cat daddy (dance move) which Nathan has been badly reenacting ever since! Thanks Ajay! ha!
The next day we headed to Seal beach had a lovely lunch and went for a swim, the waves were pretty intense, swimwear was coming off left right and centre and the water was freezing so were decieded to head home and chilll by the pool. Bliss! That evening we when to watch the boys at work (football coaching) and Nathan helped out which was pretty cool. That night be headed to a local red neck sports bar a highlight for the boys was that all the barmaids were wearing bikinis. A highlight for me was people watching and making new friends, a particular fav was the guy who stored beer bottles wedged between his bum cheeks! p.s he was getting married the next day! god help his wife!
The next few days consisted of chilling by the pool, playing table tennis, playing pool and wining and dining! Pretty perfect really. During our stay at Seal beach we visited the local mall which was cool and a nice break from the heat. Huntington botanical gardens which were beautiful, our favourites were the japanese garden and the dessert gardens, we loved all the wierd and wonderful cactus's! We also visited Down Town Disney, the resturants, bars and shops surrounding disneyland, I absolutly loved it! Wished we'd made it to disneyland but im already planning our next trip to southern California so not to worry. We also went to Long beach for drinks one evening which was cool and out for a delicous chinese thanks to the Agnelli family who were lovely.
It was brilliant staying with Leo, Jimmy and the Agnellis who were all so good to us! Thank you guys so much :-)
Basically me and Nathan have fallen in love with southern california! These people literally live like there on the OC, its bloody brilliant! Lots of love Lauren and Nathan
