So from Lima we flew to Cusco Friday morning. A man from the hostel we were staying at picked us up and drove us to Hostal El Grial. I quickly found out that Cusco is a really neat little city - I like it! There are so many great restaurants and shops. Before we left for Cusco though, Sue told us we need to find this restaurant - "the second story is over half of the restaurant but I don't remember what it's called!" So we took an overnight bus from Cajamarca to Lima on Wednesday night. The overnight buses are really nice. We got the 4 panoramic seats up front, but it was night so they weren't all that cool. We got to Lima at around 9:30am on Thursday and took a taxi to the sister workers' batch. Diane Broughton met us there, and made us feel right at home. So Sunday night we hiked down in the rain to the road to see some workers off and also to meet Sue and Jordan. Sunday evening we had a delicious dinner of chicharrones, potatoes, and rice. Saturday and Sunday were special meetings in Olmos. There were a few things that they did differently than our special meetings but I'm thankful that the spirit is the same. Saturday the workers provide lunch for the friends and Sunday the friends provide lunch for the workers.
