MONDAY 27TH NOVEMBER DAY 7

Sorry haven’t wrote for while been busy having good time! Write as was though.

Last night(Sunday) went for dinner to nice but simple restaurant near hotel, food was lovely, had fish again, (thank god for fish!), Paul; had curry, whole meal with drinks was 4 pound. We then got taxi to Patpong market, told taxi driver to take us to pingpong show, it was down dirt track, bit scary. Scary bloke told us to come for try before you buy, made taxi wait for us. It was a tenner so didn’t stay. Went to market, lots nice pics but no bag room. There were pingpong bars all down side of stalls with constant people trying to entice you in. Bloke said come in for a drink and show for 1 pound, so we decided to have a look , however we were conned cause we were soon surrounded by 6 of them who said we had to buy the bloke a drink. For pound that was alright but he disappeared and they then showed us a card saying drinks were 4 pound each, when surrounded in dodgy club just have to shut up and pay, especially since they waited till we had a sip. (BY THE WAY IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT A PINGPONG CLUB IS FIND OUT OR GUESS!) The women weren’t how I imagined, all mingers with wobbly bits. It was quite rubbish, the mingers would do some tricks and the pretties would offer a ‘treatment’ for 20p. We saw balloons being popped with a strategically placed pea shooter, bottles opened, the best/worst was one smoking but not with her mouth! Left quite quick, went to bar but they all close at one, so went bed!

Today we woke late again, had lunch, went to grand palace to take photos that we lost when camera was stolen, sad I know but had to be done. Cost 4 pound to get in and had to wear dodgy clothes due to strict cover up rules so just Paul went in. Went on tuktuk, was quite hairy but amusing. We got boat back to hotel, the engine vibrated so much that my nose was itchy. Went round pool for a bit then packed for our trip to koh tao. Only had 30 mins \to eat so went to English pub and had burger with mushy peas, first bad meal, not bad going and it was nice. They even had English papers, what more can you ask for! We were getting picked up at 2000 to take us for our coach, transport was in the back of a pick up, quite surreal, random and amusing! Everybody else had little backpacks so was very embarrasses with our huge bags. Coach was 9 hrs, seats reclined and had a/c so was fine. We stopped for halfway break and found the worst toilet yet, had hole in ground, already done that, no toilet roll done that too but also no flush just bucket full of minging water with plastic floating bowl, nice ay? Arrived at Chumphon at 0500 and waited for catermaran at 0700, watched sun rise from beach, feeling like going on hols now!
