DAY SIX 26TH NOVEMBER BANGKOK

Hi everyone

Last night went abit wrong, had a big night planned so went for food in restaurant down road, was going ok, Paul was happy as he was drinking chang beer, 1 pound for pint and half whilst having choice of 2 premier matches to watch. Food was also cheep although i thought i had ordered fish and veg but what came was a fish on its own, well got over that but we didnt leave a tip cause they were quite crap and left to get in taxi. We got in taxi and straight away realised had left brand new camera on table, went back and the thieving gits had taken it, well it wasnt there anyway, was absolutly gutted, offered them 50 pound to 'find' it but no luck. So instead of going to patpong had to go police. Went back this am for crime no, am well fed up, had all my good photos on from palace and you no what photos mean to me! So got up early this am and after police got taxi miles to emporium shopping centre which is full of designer shops and upmarket electrical stalls and bought the same camera but black for no less money, but least we got one now. Anyway thats all over now, centre was really cool, nearest to bluewater but not very big, they had a five level very much lookalike of house of fraser and childrens level was like hamleys.  Paul also got his barnet cut in a posh looking thai hairdressers, much cheaper than toni & guy.  We then got skytrain to a huge weekend market called chatachuck, it was huge, very hot too, its meant to be worlds biggest. Got some bargains, Paul got some good birkenstock lookies for 1.50 pound, i got shell necklace and bracelet for 6, teak photo frame for 1.20 and a skirt for 3 pound, very cool, could have bought loads but no room in cases! Asked 10 taxi drivers to take us back here but all made out they didnt no where it was, finally we struck a deal with a nice one! Taxi drivers arnt like london cabbies, they havnt got a clue where anywhere is and dont seem to be able to map read either which makes life difficult! We are just planning what thai islands to go to and how to get there, all seem to have thunder all week, oh well whats new? Probably have to get train cause our luggage is too heavy to fly. Will let you know.
