Waiting at the airport nervously for my first ever international flight alone. Who will I be sitting next to? Will they know to wake me for food?? So many things could go wrong!
Thanks Sime for not calming my nerves at all by demonstrating my (severe lack of) German language knowledge! Hopefully some trashy girly movies on the flight will help calm me before I start my amazing FOUR WEEKS off work.
I haven't had four weeks off since I finished uni... I might actually miss work? Surely not. Maybe... Either way I haven't given myself a choice as I've deleted my work email account from iPhone so I won't be able to have a quick check even if I'm tempted. I'll have to watch myself that I don't start browsing business process improvement, or property rezoning, or customer experience books in the book store!
Looking back at this year so far, I haven't spent more than one day away from work for over 6 months. Yep - this holiday must be well deserved! No wonder it's feeling quite strange to me at first.
