More sightseeing outside the Victory Column

We thought we'd try something different for dinner in Berlin and went to the Danke Restaurant - where they have blind waiters and you eat your three course meal in complete darkness! You are led into the dining room by your waiter, in train holding the shoulders of the person in front. You are expected to pour your wine and water on your own after the waiter leaves the bottles on the table. We managed this quite well! I don't think we spilt a drop... though it's...

Lots and lots of sightseeing in Berlin from Brandenburg Gate to the Dome to Tiergarten to the KaDeWe and Alexanderplatz shopping districts. There was a lot to see, and I'll have to share more with ALL my photos!! In Berlin I felt quite similar to my first visit to London, quite overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by not only the size but just by how much there is to see! Way too much for just one trip... I guess it means I will have to go back one day. I won't complain abo...
