This morning we geared up for jammed packed day of museums. We met the ferry at the Embarcadero and headed to Alcatraz aka Pelican Island. Fast fact: only 14 prisoners ever escaped off the island. After Alcatraz, we headed over to Starbucks for some much needed internet usage, where we were interupted by the crazy loud skype madwoman. Next, we headed over to Boudin for some original sourdough bread bowls with clam chowder. It was quite enjoyable. We then went to Walgreens for a two hour print the photos sesh, where a rent-a-cop wannabe tried to claim Dre didn't pay for her double espresso. Later, we hit up the Conservatory of Flowers a beautiful glass greenhouse in the middle of Golden Gate Park. We viewed beautiful orchids, and discovered the top ten plants to poison one's significant other with...Haha!!! After leaving the park, we tried quite unsuccessfully to find a car wash, and finally found the car wash with the greatest store ever.... think amazing Calvin Klein scented candles-AMEN! We rushed back to the hotel and quickly got ready for dinner. I guess my dress may have been a little short, because when we were trying to hail a cab no one would stop for the "hookers". We finally made it to Michael Mina's located in the Financial District and enjoyed an amazing 12 course chef tasting menu. All was well, I even skated through the duck course by plopping mine smoothly onto Dre's plate without mishap. Next we headed over to Cobb's Comedy Club, where I single-handedly became the first person to fall asleep in the middle of a set.
