The landy is fixed we have a new (well second-hand a reconditioned) fuel tank, new wing mirror and new bushes!(Not the green things the animals hide in, but bits for the car!) We have liberated Jim and Sheri from jollyboys car park (The were there three weeks!!!) and we all headed off in convoy to Kafue National Park. We spent the first night (fri) in the south, we were going to camp but the lodge was empty so the owner said we could have rooms for the same price! so we had a cook out in the blacony watching the sunset. We spent the next two nights in the north at a nice camp overlooking the river. J.P introduced Jim and Sheri to Potjie, which they loved and we did a few game drives although the animals were a little sparce! We did do a night drive on the Sat night and saw quite few hippos, a lion and some white tail mongoose (Which are rare to see apparently). We also saw a porcupine and a fleeting glance at a leopard! On the Sunday it must have been mating season for the turtles because we saw 5 seperately migrating into the bushes! There were also elephants in the camp and some warthogs. After a night of toasting marshmallows and drinking Wild! (Like baileys) coffee We parted on the Monday and we headed for Bots as they headed for S Luangwa NP. We had a great time and it was a shame to part :-(
