In our trip to Paris we went to the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Champs d Elysees, the Arch de Triumph, the Seine river, Moulin rouge, Versailles, the love lock bridge, Disneyland Paris and saw the Tour de France! Blessed doesn't begin to describe how I felt after this magical weekend! The French people were so kind and welcoming contrary to stereotype, I found them to be far more pleasant than what we've experienced in various parts of Italy so far (not that Italians are particularly mean, just less helpful to foreginers and less considereate of others). After this weekend I know that Paris is a place that I without a doubt MUST return to, hopefully one day with my own family, and if not I will make sure at least they can experience this city! There's definitely a reason it is called the city of love and magic, because it really is! As our plane lifted off and headed back to Rome, I looked out my window and saw against the night sky a twinkling Eiffel Tower, and while I was so saddened to be leaving this place I so quickly loved, I was certain that one day I will return and see those sights I saw this weekend again!
