Today we woke up bright and early, dawned our sneaks, norts, and summer frat tanks and juped on the metro/train lines to DISNEY!!!!! Disneyland Paris was comprised of our equivalent of Magic Kingdom and MGM/Hollywood Studios. The layout of the park was actually fairly similar, it even had a Main Street, USA! Upon arrival we headed straight to City Hall to collect "I'm Celebrating!" pins only to discover that those pins are unique only to the Disney world parks in Orlando, go figure! Then we went to the nearest boutique on Main Street and bought ourselves Moulin rouge/French themed Mickey Ears (somethine we were surprised to discover was that wearing ears all day all around the park was not as widely practiced in Paris). As any experienced disney vets would do, we made a B-line for Space Mountain to get fast passes, but a nice main gave us for of his own to get on the ride at that moment, it was great!! Lemme tell you, Space Mountain Paris has NOTHING on ours, it was literally the coolest indoor coaster i've been on in a while, it even went upside down!! The parks had several of our favorite rides, all with a different twist including Its a Small World, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean and more, plus there were several additional different rides we loved experienceing like Pinocchio, Toy Story world, Crush's finding nemo Roller Coaster, and Indiana Jones! We strongly urge any future travelers to disney paris to SKIP CAPTAIN EO IN DISCOVERYLAND! It was a weird movie in which Michael Jackson is a space captian that lands on a foreign planet and is captured by its ruler but escapes through 80s song and dance--bizarre. We had so much fun at Disney Paris and it was such a nice break from our usual hustle and bustle, athough the day was equally as exhausting since we stayed until 12 am to see the fireworks show on Aurora's castle!
This trip to Disneyland Paris proved to us all that Disney is truly magical in all parts of the world!
