We caught the bus to Salzburg today, this is where the Sound of Music was filmed and where Mozart was born and spent his youth (excitement plus).We were in Salzburg by 1230 and caught another bus to our campsite, it's only about 15 minutes out of town.After we set up the tent, we went into town and had a walk around and tried a piece of Sache Torte (an apparently famous style cake invented in Austria) it was ok, but I don't know why everyone raves about it.We walked along a glacier river that runs through the town, it is sourced by glaciers, the water in it is an amazing vibrant green and runs very quickly, I was thinking it would be fun to get a blow up raft and follow it down to see where it goes to, but then Jason said there is most likely waterfalls and rapids we would have to go through, so I think we'll give that a miss!
