Well amigos i have made it to the not so sunny carribean!!! (it rains ALOT here!!!) Today we had orientation, and we were shown round the city a bit, it was VAIR amusant when we were walking through the supermarket and this woman walked past me and exclaimed "QUE BLANCA!!", she couldnt believe how pale i was, we couldnt actually believe that she had come out with that!! Ahhh the laughs. Before that we went to a traditional market which was just like the ones in Peru, which was full of beautiful paintings, lots of amber and the occasional cows foot drinking bottle...niiiice. We had merengue lessons in the aftie, and surprise surprise i was awful, although it didnt help that the teacher was sooooooooooo picking on me and that one of the other voulunteers kept on making stupid faces so i kept on having laughing spaz attacks which didnt help the situation... After that we just came back to the guest house and ate, played cards, got annoyed at the tv cos it wasnt working!!! Thats the funny thing about here, you can never expect anything to work, and they have regular blackouts during the day. Yesterday we had about five in 15 minutes!!! Hilarious. Its also sooooo my kina country as nothing runs on time, if were told to be somewhere at 3 we dont need to turn up till at least quarter past...amazing!!! For he first time in my life im early for things, its quite a novelty!!!
