Lie in this morning, needed it, not much sleep last night due to big thunderstorm and very heavy rain :/ sorrento looks pretty grey today however, after breakfast we had a brief wander about the place then decided to hop on the open top bus that goes through sorrento and on to the surrounding hilltop villages. Luckily the rain held off for the whole time we were sat upstairs on the bus! No umbrellas allowed in case you get hooked on to a tree and carried off or something :P
Saw island of Capri in the distance, a very clouded Vesuvius, more dinky vehicles driven by lemon and olive farmers and tiny houses on the hills. Peaceful places.
Stopped by patisserie on way home and went to take photos of the decaying mill aaaall the way down the bottom of the cliff. Not one to suffer from vertigo but it's a long way down :/
Wish I could climb down and get a closer look ;)
Bit of a read back at the apartment an then shopping with the mother around town. Bought new pair of brown brogues, so comfy, very nice, and also red/brown/beige scarf
