Day 4 (A'Lhora ;P)
Guided tour along the amalfi coast today, so pretty, all along the cliffs. Through the towns built into the sides of the rocks.
Passed above the town of Possitano, bus too big to fit down the side streets as they mostly consist of very narrow passages or staircases! The average house in Possitano has 75 steps in it as they're built on hills. On top of that, walking up to the top of the cliffs involved 1 hour and 30 mins of walking up steps!!
Stopped in the town of amalfi, had a boat trip around to have a look at the devil's mouth and a load of houses I'm going to buy when I have lots of money!!
Little walk through the town, very busy, narrow and full of people until an ambulance wants to get through where you dive for the nearest doorway and put your back to the wall!!
On from amalfi to lunch on top of the cliff in Skala then finally to Ravello, very small quiet town in the mountains.
I have now learned that wherever you go it will cost you at least 50 cents to pee in a public toilet!
After Ravello, a final drive down the mountains with views of Vesuvius and Naples then home again
Pancake for tea, drinks in Fauna right on Tasso square where one measure run fills about 3/4 of the glass :) happy days!
One last drink in Irish bar then home, knackered, lie in tomorrow, I hope
The man upstairs waits until after 9am to start hammering away at his apartment walls/ceiling/floor
