Day 2
Sun's out!!
Down to the riviera hotel to sunbathe, bikini on, officially on holiday now! Always forget we're above sea level... Quite a bit above sea level, stunning views over the marina and across to Vesuvius though.
Volcano is smoking today also!
Very lazy day, well deserved, spent the morning lying on deck chairs, reading then had lunch.
Afternoon, me and dad took the lift down to the decking below. No beaches as such because everything's built right into the side of the cliff which goes straight down into the water below so each hotel has its own lift down to its own private decking area.
Bit more sunbathing then decided to take a swim in the sea - bloody freezing!! :P
A few laps around the decking area, watched the ferries, nudged a jellyfish then got out!
Lift back up then back to the apartment
Me and mum went out early to catch the last night of the Dali exhibition up at the gallery/house. Interesting, lots to see, sculptures, paintings, well know Dali symbolism - Melting clocks and the like!
Food in l'abate, then back early for bed, going to Pompeii tomorrow :)
