This morning I was up before the sun.I left Devin's at 5:30 AM and was at JFK by 6:00 AM.Everything went smoothly at the airport, I was even 1 pound under the weight limit for my luggage!I flew jetBlue to Long Beach, and the flight was pleasant and uneventful. We had lovely views of the Pacific on our way in.The weather here is ideal, sunny and in the high 60s-low 70s…flip flop weather!Once I checked into the hotel, the lovely Sheriton Cerritos, I marched across the street in search of toothpaste, lunch foods and other little things I needed to pick up.I met with success at both Trader Joes and Walmart and headed back to the hotel for lunch and a bit of relaxation. The rest of the tour got in at 3:00 PM and it was great to see so many of my friends from All Shook Up.At 6:30 PM we headed across the street to the performing arts center for call. The theater here is absolutely amazing.Apparently the theater's seating and stage setup can be configured in 6 different ways. The lobby is beautiful with a fireplace and grand staircases. After sitting in on the company meeting and sound check, I headed out into the lobby and eventually my seat.I was very excited to see the show.I saw the designer run in Florida, but had never seen it with costumes, or the changes they made when they took it on the road. The show was great! It's super high energy and lots of fun to watch.Admittedly it's very surreal to watch a show you're going to be a part of and don't know yet.I had lots of fun though, and feel confident that I'll be able to handle learning the show and going into it quickly. After the show, a bunch of us went across the street to TGIF for some food and drinks and then we all headed off to bed.I can't wait to actually begin learning the show!
