Today was the epitome of why we schedule this trip every year. We had a group do a 4 x 4 jeep run above North Lake and another fish in Mammoth Lakes. A majority of us took the trip to the San Joaquin Valley andfished Scotcher Lake. Once everyone was done doing what was on their list, we all met up at the mammoth brewery and had lunch and a few flights. It was nice to see everyone do exactly what they wanted to do on this day but still come together at the end. Of course we had a horseshoe tournament in the afternoon to which George Luna and Jim Lewis prevailed as the number one winning team. We shared stories throughout dinner which was delicious and around the campfire before going to bed. There wasn't a whole lot of fish caught today but it wasn't for the lack of effort. RG and Rod went out in the evening and killed it just to show up everybody's efforts. In the end, it really doesn't matter how much fish were caught or who did what. It is a the stores around the campfire that matters.
