It's finally my last night in Munich. I'm crossing my fingers for some sun in Austria. The Germans are definitely interesting people. They all have a very distinct look about them: tall, trim, sharply dressed, clean cut, determined walk, you get the idea. They are pretty much the total opposite of Italians. I'm curious as to what I'll find in Austria.
Even in horrible weather Munich is a top-notch city.
But I'm dying to see some palm trees. I wouldn't put it past me to head straight for the beach upon my midnight return to the Holy City.
This blog is supposed to double as a "field notes journal," but it's really difficult to have field notes when I spend the majority of my time inside working on various assignments. The final observation paper is going to be a pain in my rear end.
I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention that all the beer halls/breweries were founded by monks and appropriately named after them. Conveniently enough absolutely nothing is open on Sundays except for beer halls. These people don't play with their brew.
You'll probably be amused to know that the two little blonde coaster thieves also enjoyed their own fair share of beer at the restaurant. Apparently its perfectly normal and puts children right to sleep. Maybe something we should try, America?
