Ola....... We hope you are all well??? Well, we had a little bit of an adventure yesterday.............. We went surfing with our local friend and Jon the Aussie...... After a 10 minute bus ride and 30 minute hike through the jungle we arrived at the most beautiful beach ever... blue clear water... lovely rolling waves... crisp white sand..... ( have i rubbed it in enough yet???) Anyways, we took it in turns to go out and surf, but true to form the aussie decided to stay out for the entire morning... anyways, when he did decide that he was hungry me and Kimbo got to go out together and show everyone how its really done!!! Hummmmmm.......... i was paddling for my first wave, kim next to me, and i felt the worst burning sensation around my legs and back ever...... It turns out i had been stung by a jelly fish... and seems like it was the only one in town as well...... anyways... i didn't really know what had happened, but kimbo sorted the situation, by calling Jon away from the food stand..... anyways the local guy told me i had to wee on myself... ýes you can imagin my face when he said that'...... well the worst thing was I had only recently been and couldn't stop hopping around long enough to even contemplate weeing...like-wise Kim and jon had just been as well...... Long story short and 4 bottle of water drunk by both Kim and Jon i had a little bottle of warm wee to bathe in.... hummmm.... very nice..... Don't panic though, i have showered now and believe me i have scrubbed!!! The stings have gone down and you can hardly see that i was stung at all... so Mum all is ok!! Well we plan to leave here tomorrow with not one but 3 aussies in tow.......Typical... i suppose when we get to Aus we will have brazillians in tow??? We also hope to get the pictures online... i know... i know... we keep on saying this... but Michael our hostel owner has a computer and said he would help us... so hopefully we can get that done soon....
