Now we're in Brisbane baby! big city life at last. Our stop before here was Noosa, which was for two nights. The beaches had so many surfers on, typical Australia and a lot of expensive shops, very nice place though. But now Brisbane! We're staying at Base backpackers, right in the centre of all the action. We've only been here a day and a bit, we went to the Botanical Gardens yesterday with some friends just to chill out, followed by a roof top barbecue at night. So pretty looking over all the city lights, as we're surrounded by sky scrapers. Then we thought we'd check out the Brisbane night life (Brisvegas - locals like to say). The Downunder Bar is directly below us, so very convenient! The night was pretty typical, dancing, a few drinks and funny games. Another good night! Today the weather has been chucking it down, not fun! But Heather's leaving us tommorrow, so a big send off tonight in the Valley! Our room mates, John and Ryan, are joining us as they know all the good places to go! xx
