Yesterday and today have been pretty much consumed with traveling.
Our night train got in at 7 and we were quite tired as we had c***
sitting next us made it their aim to drink a bottle of whisky each!!!

Anyway after that annoyance we then got in a taxi which cost far too many
bhat to the airport where we waited for 4 hours before we were able to
check in. Bangkok airport is huge, very pretty and full of very
expensive designer brands. However one thing at the airport did piss
me off, they didn't have security until you went to the departure
gate which meant all the stuff we had bought i.e water had to be taken
of us along with my mosquito repellent and Laura's deodorant. I am really
hoping to find some more tomorrow.

Anyway we then got a moto ( a bike with some seats attached slightly
bigger than a tuk tuk) to our hostel which is a georgous hostel where
we have the penthouse which has its one huge sun lounge (yes we are
clearly slumming it).

The contrast between our hostel and what is arround us. We are in the
middle of a small slum where the houses are made out of corrugated
metal. In fact there is a huge difference between Bangkok and Phnom
Penh the people in Phnom Penh are friendlier and there are far less
tourist and a backpacker vibe. I think this is good as it is more of
the beaten track.

I am also quite happy as I manged to buy the next two in the series
of Twilight as I have finished the first two and they were brill.

Right bed time now got another busy day infront of me in the form of a
5 hour bus ride to Siem Reap.

Sorry this is a bit of a complaining note but as you can guess i'm
kinda tired.
