Sunday 5th July 2009 It is pissing it down outside and has been for the the last 10 hours so haven't actually done much today. Partly down to the rain and also partly down to the fact that Lynsey and I got extremely drunk last night on the local drink which is basicaly whisky red bull and either sprite or coke. Okay so last night we traveled on the night train from Bangkok to chiang Mai, which was an experience. The train was very fun with seets which folded into a bed and what looked like a bagage rack which folded into a bed for lynsey to sleep in which was apparently comphy, if a little cramped. arrived safe and well!! had a pretty chilled out day and an early night to try and get over the flight. yesterday we did some sightseeing and went to wat pho-a temple with a massive reclining buddha. all very pretty and shiny lol. getting an overnight train to chaing mai tonight-we're hoping it will be ok and we'll get some sleep on the bunk beds!
