It is pissing it down outside and has been for the the last 10 hours so haven't actually done much today. Partly down to the rain and also partly down to the fact that Lynsey and I got extremely drunk last night on the local drink which is basicaly whisky red bull and either sprite or coke. It actually just tastes like vodka red bull.

Yesterday on the other hand we managed to fit tonnes in first we went on a elephant ride through the jungle which was fun however I kept thinking that a spider or something was going to fall on my head. I didn't think the elephants were taken care of as well as they were in Sri lanka. The scariest part was actually the journey there as we had to get in what I can only describe as a metal crate to take us over a river.

We then went on a trek through the jungle which was muddy and hot but actually quite fun. We were trekking to a waterfall which we could swim in which was very fun, we had lunch at the side of the waterfall and had pat Thai out of leaves. We then trekked back to the van where we then went White water rafting which was tame but still very fun. Made more fun by the guide in the other boat yet starting water fights. We ended up being very very wet but all in good fun. At the end of the day we were meant to do bamboo rafting but unfortunately we were running late and the people who were with us needed to get back for their bu s.

Anyway it is still pissing it down but I think we are going to brave it and go to the Sunday night Market which is meant to be very cheap so no doubt I will come back with lots.

Tomorrow we get the night train to Bangkok and then on Tuesday we are flying to phnom phen Cambodia so I have a fun filled couple of days traveling ahead of me.
