Today was a really wasted day. I slept most of it as I was sick. Dean had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant by himself. And spent some time on the beach. We had dinner in our villa. I had a bowl of boiled rice. Dean had fish amok - a traditional Cambodian curry - which he loved. Nothing else to write about today. A sick day!!

Another lazy day. I have to admit to being slighty seedy this morning. We had a late breakfast, then took a tuk tuk back to the old market for some shopping. I hate being harassed when shopping - even back home I hate it. But it was harassment to a new level here. And I quickly learned that when the cost is 10 - you can usually get it for half that. New Years Eve! And our first day with nothing planned! I have to say we were quite exhausted after the flight from Australia and then four days of traipsing around the countryside here. Today was a really long driving day. We set out after breakfast about 8.30 to see the Buddhist Temple at the top of the holy mountain. The road up the mountain is basically one way for cars - you drive up in the morning and then at midday they close the road going up - and it becomes a one way road going down.
