Two shows last night. The first was good; the second was a cracker!! We again performed a musical version of the IT Came From Somewhere Else format. I think it was the first time on the trip that we spun up Rocket Science on the Wheel of Terror. Everyone played really strong characters. Audience was very into it and very vocal. Best post-show audience review, "I go to a lot of impro shows, and they are funny .....but this was piss you pants funny!" Let's hope he does a review on TalkFringe.com
Also caught up with Rumplestiltskin after the show. Rumple, as he is affectionately known, is a well known clown, acrobat and generally awesome performer from Brisbane. I have been wanting to meet Rumple for some time as I have heard so much about him from Ange Nancarrow. Review from Rumple was simply, "Crickey!"; which I think means he enjoyed the show.
Now, I left the best until last!!! Previously you heard me going on about how awesome a comedian called Felicity Ward was. Well I had a dream come true and got to meet the lovely Felicity late last night at the Artist's Bar. Unfortunately I lost a bet with Stuart and I now owe him several body parts apparently; all because I said no I don't think that is her and he said I bet you it is. Well anyway it was worth it, she was lovely and inspiring to talk to ....so, sorry Josie Long, I've kind of moved on now. Now that I've met Felicity. Also, said hello in passing to Heath Franklin (of Ronnie Johns / Chopper fame). Sandra and Rob caught up with Arj Barker and Stuart with Wil Anderson. Oh, sorry I mean to say they all had the privilege of catching up the us!
