Exclusive interview with Bec Harrington
K. Hi Bec. It sounds as though you have really been enjoying yourself here in Adelaide. Obvious question, how do you like my hair?
B. It looks great Kev.
K. You have had a really busy performance schedule - 8 shows in 6 days. Obvious question, do you think I am the best performer you have ever seen or ever likely to see?
B. Yes Kev, you are.
(.....Disclaimer: I did not actually ask Bec the previous two questions)
K. When did you start performing?
B. Grade 3. Reginald the Frog.
K. And during the rest of school?
B. Yes, I was continually lobbying teachers to put on productions every year.
K. When did you first do impro.
B. I discovered Impro at High School.
K. Did you continue performing after school?
B. Yes, I went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts & Cultural Management, worked for a while in a Valley clothing store and performed in a number of scripted shows, including the Sexy Detective. I have also been heavily involved in arts management - incl, Brisbane Festival and the Adelaide Fringe.
K. Why do you like impro?
B. Good question. Really fun; great creative outlet; a good way to reenter performing. Also because it is hard. I like to challenge myself.
K. Favourite impro games?
B. Replay. Evil twin. Long form.
K. Aspirations?
B. Standup. Radio. Variety show. And I would like you to be my first guest Kevin. (Clarification: Yes, Bec did actually say this)
K. Inspirations?

K. Fav colour / sports team / TV show?
B. Blue. Andy Roddick. Arrested Development.
K. Month born?
B. August.
K. Bec, do you have any parting wisdom to share with us?
B. If I could grow a moustache I would. Why? men don't take full advantage of the gift.
