At 8am, this being Sunday, the church bells rang loudly as Azamara Journey anchored in the harbour. We boarded Aegean flight 350 (Airbus A321-200 Rego SX-DVZ) for the 5:30 am flight to Santorini. The Hotel Ava even provided breakfast for us at 3:15 am owing to the early departure. Had a big day walking...first to the 1896 Olympic Arena, then through the National Garden which also contains the Exhibition Building. After that we visited several historic sites and saw lots of ruins. Refreshed from our jet lag, we started the day with breakfast downstairs in the hotel.
