After a much needed nine hour sleep, my week begins! Luckily, Bafana Bafana ( I'm learning the lingo already...)qualified for the next round of the ANC last night! There was bedlam here so hopefully they go on and win it so I can see the locals lose the plot altogether! Although I really want Cape Verde to win, but I'll be killed if I say that here...

Seen as it is Monday(right?), today will be not too stressful or eventful...booked a few different trips for this week including a day tour of Soweto and Johannesburg tomorrow and a couple of wild animal trips for later in the week-golf needs to be booked also seen as it is fairly cheap here, must see if Ernie is up for a battle..

Got lost walking to the convenient store this afternoon, but luckily a local picked me up and drove me there.'Convenient' store my arse...two kilometers away! It also wasn't very 'convenient' that the person who gave me a lift asked me to lift his dog,(who had just broke his leg) out of the back of his car and was paying a much needed visit to the vet. When I saw the state of the dog( Shane McGowan lookalike- scruffy, no teeth and smelling of piss), I realized I should have just remained lost..Out with the scruffy busted dog, into the vets, straight out of the vets, into the store, lots of greasy snacks I hadn't seen in a while and The Sun newspaper...greasy food and a smutty newspaper- the perfect way to pass away the rest of the day vejjing by the pool- oh Mondays.....
