On the road again at 6am..luckily I didn't realize I had pitched my tent on top of a termite hill until I was packing up. No more camping for me for a long time I reckon!
We began our two hour drive through Kruger Park at 7am and immediately came across a pack of wild dogs ( aka cape hunting dogs) resting on the side of the road. DC ( formerly known as Danny Coffee..)nearly went through the roof with the excitement- just looked like a bunch of dirty alsatians to me..
I don't know why people want to sit there and stare at these wild animals for more than five minutes- it's not like any of the animals are going to get up and do a few cartwheels or perform some card tricks for the onlookers- 'snap, snap, move on' folks! Catching one of the dogs taking a dump is about as much activity as these fellas are going to do today...
As we exited Kruger Park at 9:30am, our final lookout point was crocodile river. The French dude, Pierre thought it was called chocolate river, 'uh ah see, le brown water iz why it iz called shockolate reeiver?' That's right Pierre, in you go...
