Pretty chilled out day today.
Woke up quite early and Carol and I did a fee laos of the tan! We caught train to South Yarra before meeting David (or Davis as all his Aussie mates call him!) for a liquid lunch. We went to café Florina which did a great lunch deal..any pizza/pasta with glass wine/beer for $12.50! Australia has a big lunch time drinking culture, not half as big as UK but still big. In most offices, mostly private companies, every Friday, they take 2 hour liquid lunch before going back to office. Then, about, 4pm, they have drinks in office! In Davis's office, a bell actually sounds to let staff know it's drinkie time!
After lunch, we walked up and down a goo chunk of chapel street (big fancy shopping district) and 1 pair of Havianas later we were back on train home.
We had lovely roast chicken dinner courtesy of Sinéads mate Alex, before heading in for early night. Lots of nice food today!!
