Left Niagara early this morning and headed for Toronto. Only had a limited amount of time in Toronto so went straight for the CN Tower. Didn't take too long to get tickets and was soon at the top looking out of 360 degree windows at Toronto. Was impressive views and quickly apparent how much taller the CN is compared to the other skyscrapers.
Once I'd seen enough from the top I had to go down several floors to the "glass floor" level before you can get the lift down to ground level. On this floor several square metres of the floor have been replaced with reinforced glass, allowing you to stand on this and look directly down to the streets hundreds of metres below.
At the bottom of the tower was the official shop for the Toronto Blue Jays, the baseball team. Had a look through there and realised that at the back the shop opened up onto the stadium. You weren't allowed to go through that way but I could see the team practicing through the doors.
There wasn't really much else to find to do in Toronto in the time that I had so just had a wander around the shops before it was time to begin our drive to our Toronto campsite.
