Another lazy day in Mirissa with a walk along the beach, a quick swim and a visit to the local temple, Kandavahari, which is located on a hill overlooking the beach. Whilst walking along the canal back to our Guesthouse we happened upon a large snake (a Cobra says Desley), another smaller Chamleon and two large Water Monitor lizards in the water. 9/2/2014 - later, later on…. Whilst having dinner at the Tea View Guest House I received a phone call from the Owner of the Sun Top (where we had stayed previously). He had found someone who wanted to share the cost to hire a car to travel to the South Coast - a German chap named Johannes. Johannes subsequently rang and we agreed to jointly hire a Taxi to travel from Ella right down to pretty much the bottom of Sri Lanka at a beach-side town called Mirissa. G...
