Went to the CN tower today in Toronto. As we approached the building I was stunned at just how big the building is! It claims to be the tallest building in the world - I don't know how true that is as it was built a while ago now. It was pretty expensive to enter and I don't think it was worth the money, but it was an attraction that had to be done! There were two viewing levels and we paid for both. The lifts going to the first level shot up the tower at 15mph and were able to see out of the glass panels on the sides and on the floor!
The views from the CN tower were amazing and we could see for miles - it put it into perspective just how vast Canada is and also how flat most parts are! We then viewed the glass floor, which I found too scarry to walk across, but forced myself to sit on it long enough to get a quick photo! Amy was being suprisingly brave and walked across it, which was really suprising as she's terrified of heights!
We then took another lift upto the highest viewing point, where we were both slightly disappointed as the change in height was hardly noticable. We still managed to get some amazing photos and the views were pretty spectacular.
