Becky again!! Got the bus to Penang, 5 hour journey, cost 11 quid, and it was luxury - big seats, leg rests and individual tv screens. The journey went pretty quickly watching The Taking of Pelham 123 and Ice Age 3!! That evening we went for dinner at an all you can eat restaurant, but there was a catch...you had to cook it yourself!! We were rubbish and not very experimental, we got a few funny looks!!

The next day we went on the hunt for trishaws (a 3 wheeled bike with seating for 2 at the front). They took us on a tour of the city, around all the historic buildings and temples. Laziness had reached a new level when we didnt even need to get up to take a photo!! After that we went to Penang Hill (830m above sea level) where we got the funicular train to the top - took pics, had a cream tea and held a snake (2m Burmese Python), as you do!! It was really heavy, and felt so wierd, but that is one fear faced!!
